Hi Yasmin,
It is crazy to me because in college, while taking my science courses, my professors never emphasized prefixes and suffixes for certain terminology. While taking my EMT course, I learned about the importance of prefixes and suffixes and am actually glad that I get to incorporate the terminology and learn it more.
